Pietro's in Lodi, CA

Pietro’s is the unofficial epicenter of Lodi, California; a family-owned Italian American restaurant built on the principle of uniting the local community, and providing a place for family and friends to gather and enjoy a hearty meal.

Our Approach

Our team was enamored with Pietro’s ambiance and hospitality the second we visited. Husband and wife team, Pete and Tyler Murdaca, were looking to refresh their menus and collateral suite for a more contemporary style, while retaining the charm and warmth that their regulars know and love.

Traditional, With A Twist

We designed a suite of collateral using a fresh take on an Italian color palette, and combined water color-esque illustrations for a brand that feels fresh and energetic, yet classic.

As a part of our process, we retained their original script logo, pairing it with a new, bold expression that we felt honored the restaurant’s rich family history while giving it a contemporary twist.

“Working with Emily and her team has elevated our brand and restaurant tremendously. My wife and I have enjoyed collaborating with the dream weavers that are RAY Studio. RAY has taken our passion and put it in front of our customers in a way that has far exceeded our expectations.”
